Wanting to sell Louis Vuitton and told it is a fake...is it?

over 98 percent of products bearing the louis vuitton that have at some point been wore in public are fake. i read this on wikipedia. the louis vuitton group says unless the bag was initally purchased at a louis vuitton store or eluxury.com, that it is counterfit. Also, if you take the bag in to a louis vuitton store, they can quickly run up the numbers and check in the back to see if it's real.
