If i call the police will my dad be fired?

im 15 from NY and i wanted to go out with a friend to see a movie today around 1. my mother said it was ok and said my dad would take me. dad was drinkin a few beers so i yelled to my mom jokingly sayd mom! dads bein dad again becuz hes a alcoholic who "quit drinking" 3 days ago. my father took off his boot and threw it at me. i said WTF are you doing i was kidding and he took the other off and hit me in the face. my mom came running and kicked him out of the house. my face hurts and i want to call the police. but my moms worried about him getting fired from his job becuz he is a police officer. should i just call myself and would we lose his job?
