Is there an emotion that is purely pleasurable?
I'm sure what you're asking but I'll take a shot at it. All emotions are instant evaluations of what's good or bad for our survival. When we have a pleasurable moment the mind is still looking for possible problems. Very few moments are purely about that moment unless the body and mind are at easy about the totality of one's life. It's much easier to have a purely painful moment since the now becomes the sole focus of the person. But it is possible to have an emotion that is purely pleasurable if and only if future concerns are not pressing at all.
